Club FR ended their drift season with a bang at the USA International Raceway’s unbelievable go-cart course. 

This final event for the season before the brutal midwest winters may have been far from Chicago, but it was definitely worth the drive. Located in Shawano Wi, the go-cart track offers something parking lots in the city can’t provide, crazy turns and steep slopes, making for quite the challenge and a beautiful setting.

There was even a good amount of diversity from the usual S-chassies like this 350Z that had no problems getting sideways, or this sc300.

The cool air may not have been pleasant to stand around in, but the turbos loved it.Even though the drifting had to be called off early after only a few hours of drifting due to freezing rain, it was well worth the trip. We’ll bring more coverage of drift builds (or rebuilds from drift damage) over the winter, and video coverage of the event will be coming soon from Alex Nagy.
